How to Get Involved

There are a couple of different ways you can get involved with Agora Evangelism Ministries. Some of these are listed below: 

Prayer Warrior 

Nothing, and we mean nothing, happens for the Kingdom unless it is bathed in prayer. We desperately need Christians with a burden for a lost and dying world that would be willing to pray for Agora Evangelism Ministries. Some of the areas that we need fervent prayer are: 

Booth Workers to have utterance and boldness to give the gospel

Holy Spirit to work on the hearts of those that hear the gospel in the booth

Wisdom for the staff and board members to guide the ministry in a godly manner.

Financial support to reach as many people as possible with a clear gospel message.

Bead Stringer 

The main visual aid used while presenting the gospel in the evangelism booths is a group of five colored beads on a rawhide string. AEM gets the beads and the rawhides separately and they must be put together by hand. We commit to those stringing the beads that every single rawhide bracelet that is given out at our evangelism booths will be given with a clear, verbal presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and an invitation to accept Him as Savior.

Who strings beads? There are several different types of people that have put the beads together in the past. People that have worked in the booth and know the success of the ministry love to put the beads together. People that love the Lord and want His message to go forth but can’t (for various reasons) get out of their house or apartment are always stringing beads.

Booth Worker 

We are always looking for events where the gospel can have a presence and where local churches are interested in evangelizing. If your church would like to partner with us in your local area, simply give us a call and we will see if there is a chance of us coming out to help you win our area to Christ. If you give us your contact information (your name, your church’s name, your pastor’s name and a phone number for you or your pastor) then we will call to arrange a meeting. After the initial meeting we will train, equip and partner with your church at your event (either a fair or carnival or, even, a block party).

Missionary 

Besides helping churches evangelize their local area, we also train and equip churches to evangelize on short term mission trips. If your church members (teens and/or adults) are going to visit a mission field then we would love the opportunity to be part of your preparation. We will provide at least one training session on using the colored beads to explain the gospel along with tracts and rawhide bracelets. All of this would be provided at cost.

Financial Supporters 

It is an unfortunate truth that no organization today can survive without financial support f one kind or another. Agora Evangelism Ministries is no different. Currently we are in need of one-time donations to help get the ministry underway. As a matter of fact, we are currently praying the Lord will provide $15,000 for this. We are also in need of monthly support to maintain a staff that will be responsible for keeping all written material up to date, maintaining logistics support for local churches, training and partnering with those churches and organizing our follow-up ministry.
