Evangelism on the Mall - Memorial Day 2010

What a great day! Over 645 people came to know Jesus as their Savior on the Mall in DC. We set up 3 ways to reach the lost during Memorial Day:

A stage was set up for preaching. We had 4 different people giving a gospel presentation. After a 45 minute concert one of our men would get up to give the gospel. Pastor Curtis King from Granite Baptist Church spoke first at 11:00. Then, at 1:00 Dr shelton Smith from Sword of the Lord spoke. A parade got in the way of our next concert. We delayed about an hour. then, at 4:00, Dr Larry Aiken from Emmanuel Baptist Temple spoke. Finally, at 5:00 Dr Bob Dudle of Agora Evangelism Minisitries spoke.

We had 8 tents set up for gospel presentations using the salvation bracelets. Over a hundred Christians worked in the tents lined up on the north side fo the Washignton Monument.

We also had dozens of Christians walking around the DC area street witnessing.

In all, there were 5 fundamental independent Baptist Churches working together to reaqch the lost that day.

something else very interesting was the numebr of countries reached on Memorial Day. People were led to Chirst from the following countries (plus others):

  • Albania
  • Argentina
