Reaching the Marketplace for Jesus

Two Sisters 

We had set up a tent at the Fireman’s Festival in Jane Lew, West Virginia. We were late getting our name in at the festival so we actually had to set our tent up about 2 blocks away from everything on the side of the road. People would park their cars down the street and walk by our tent on their way to the festival.  

On our second day two sisters came to the tent. They looked to be in their 50’s. After going through the gospel with the beads I asked them if they were 100% sure that they would go to heaven.  The older sister was sure but the younger one was just as unsure. I asked the older sister why she was so sure. She told me that Jesus had died for her sins. 

I turned to the younger sister and asked her if she would like to be that sure. The tears just started running down her face and she couldn’t speak. All she could do was nod her head, “Yes.” We bowed our heads and prayed. Now she knows she’s on her way to heaven, just like her older sister.
